1. Records are the only evidence of all your operations, your „truth” regardless of status – state or municipal enterprise, state institution, Ltd. or Joint Stock Company, sole trader or self-employed person. By recording your processes you will be able to prove that these processes have really existed, the way they were conducted and also what were the results of these processes (decisions, products, scientific-explorative, technical projects, manuscripts, sketches etc.).
2. Only with stored records it will be possible to prove your „truth” after years (8 or 88), where such necessity arises. You will be able to store records in state, municipal or your personal archive or in archive of your enterprise.
3. Continuously or permanently stored records have to be adjusted according to requirements and recommendations of the State Archives of Latvia, so they could be used during the whole storage period, i. e., so you would be able to orientate freely in your own archived records.
4. Internal normative documentation – statutes of enterprise and its bodies, rules of procedure, job descriptions, regulations and instructions – help institution managers to organize administration.
